Your challenge:

Seeking a multi-skilled role with chance to enjoy some travel – staying near Toronto, Canada?

Your role:

The King of Saudi Arabia has gifted the citizens of Riyadh, the capital city, a world-class public transport service and Trapeze is delivering the demand response transport application.

Think route scheduling, timetabling, dispatching, finance and real time back office systems. This means interesting coding challenges – adopting a rich mix of languages, primarily VC++ - in handling resources effectively and delivering a reliable service that comprises many variables.

Joining at the proof of concept stage and collaborating in a semi Agile team, we’ll fly you to our Canadian office for six months’ knowledge sharing and project initiation. You’ll be fully accommodated, with scheduled UK home visits provided.

Following project delivery in 2016, you’ll also be contributing to our broader suite of integrated products, enjoying continued personal development from the many projects and technology milestones that lay ahead.

Example projects:
  • Adaptation of the front end to accommodate Arabic localisation
  • Integration with external CRM platforms
  • Integration with citizen and driver mobile apps
About you:
  • You enjoy working with multiple languages e.g. Visual C++ | C# .NET | JavaScript | Visual Basic | VB.NET | HTML5 | CSS
  • You contribute effectively across the whole stack, including the Web services layer
  • You’re a believer in continuous improvement and best practice
  • You don’t mind encountering and modernising legacy technology e.g. Visual Basic 6, ASP.NET
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, you learn quickly and you enjoy helping others
