Fresh8 Gaming needs you to help advance our high-traffic content delivery platform, ensuring it doesn't crack under pressure and that user interactions are positive and trouble-free.
We need a proficient Junior Front End Developer to help define, develop and maintain the user facing aspects of our content delivery platform, which handles millions of requests daily from all around the world.
It’s interesting work in a relaxed start-up like environment where, as part of our front end team, you can soon contribute to technical and design discussions, support important projects and benefit from guidance and mentoring from our senior engineers.
You will mostly be working with new code and we can support your transition from another JavaScript framework. Our software stack is predominantly written in Go and is structured as a service oriented architecture. AngularJS and Node.js are used for our CMS solution. We’re also proponents of open source technology and we encourage your active involvement in the community.
We offer a strong technical challenge and ongoing personal development from the many milestones ahead.
About you:
- You are positive, hard-working and easy to get on with
- You have a Computing or numerate degree from a well ranked University, or excellent earlier grades
- You bring demonstrable JavaScript skills, including OOP concepts, AJAX and JSON
- You're ready to transfer from modern frameworks, such as; AngularJS | Ember.js | Node.js | Backbone.js | React etc.
- You understand how to develop for scalable, high traffic services - optimisation, bundling, minification etc.
- You can apply the principles of clean code to your work through TDD, pairing and review
