Virtual Pricing Director is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join our small engineering team implementing our new legal tech web application, working with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
Our software empowers a wide audience within law firms to swiftly produce consistently high quality data-driven pricing proposals that profitably deliver on clients’ expectations of pricing transparency and pricing certainty. We achieve this with a best in class data management and workflow platform, and a compelling focus on UI/UX.
We have just soft-launched our product to a small group of legal firms. We have the best-recognised brand in our niche, and strong demand.
 
You will be helping to build-out new features in our web application and the underlying logic, delivering rich BI capabilities and creating intuitive experiences that people will love. Your work will go on to manifest new workflow management capabilities, and to bring structure to unstructured data.
The domain entails data-intensive services where security, data integrity and uptime are key. This presents lots of interesting challenges as we build and integrate our technology. We offer considerable freedom in technology choice and approach. There are big plans and lots to accomplish.
 
Upcoming projects
	- Exploring, innovating and creating IP
- Designing and implementing business logic, web applications, and front-ends
- New data visualisation and BI reporting
- Helping implement new API and data integration pipelines
- Automating quality, CI/CD, and shaping a DevOps approach
- Supporting dialogue with customers
- Helping establish our development culture, methods and tooling

We're looking for
	- Someone with strong full-stack engineering abilities
- Strong understanding of Computer Science principles 
- Adept software design and coding skills, accrued in a modern full-stack context
- User empathy, good appreciation of accessibility and UX
- Technology agnostic and adept with TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL and GraphQL
- A microservice-based approach, with strong SQL and web services design
- Ability to unpack complex requirements, to uphold security of sensitive data and to conform to best practices
- A collaborative, adaptable, user-centered approach
