Flexys is hiring a remote Front-End Engineer to build custom UI solutions for its fintech application, working with JavaScript and TypeScript.
We're building highly responsive and scalable single page applications that manage debt more effectively and provide a sustainable and positive experience for consumers. Growing fast, we need a front-end colleague to build custom workflow, dashboard and reporting solutions for clients - working in a customer-facing and coding-oriented role.
You'll join a collaborative solution delivery team, working closely with our DevOps teams and, at all times, you'll have a lot of freedom in approach, technology choice and influence over multiple products. Importantly, you'll also be exposed to customers in order to understand their goals, and how their business and technology runs.

What you'll be working on
- Primarily; build front-ends with JavaScript and TypeScript, also;
- Become front-end technical lead per-project, where appropriate
- Participate in requirements workshops
- Configure and customise systems, in Google Cloud Platform
- Develop and test workflow processes with BPMN
- Build reports using BigQuery
We're looking for
- Strong front-end coding skills; JavaScript and TypeScript
- Adept at building well laid-out, responsive and easy-to-use front-ends
- A shared belief in following best coding practices
- Experience with version control systems including Git
- Thorough application of unit and acceptance testing
- A clear desire to learn, improve and share knowledge with colleagues
- An understanding of structured Agile e.g. Scrum, Kanban
You may also bring - or like to gain - familiarity with
- Event sourcing
- Google Cloud Platform
